何謂「駐地球辦事處」

駐地球辦事處旣代表編者作品中的各國，也代表編者本人。對於作品中的諸國來說，駐地球辦事處是一個供那些並不存在於地球上的政治實體共同處理「地球事務」的窗口。而回到現實中，事務所則是編者爲了將自身從單純的個人身份中稍作分離，而設立的空間。
透過駐地球辦事處編者身份發表的內容，與以本人身份發表的內容有所不同。以編者身份發表的內容，不再只是個人的表達，而是在相對抽離的框架中，承載編者以另一種角度整理、觀察與呈現事物的方式。
駐地球辦事處之所以存在，並非因爲編者需要被「派駐」到自己原本居住的地球，而是因爲有些想法或作品，需要這樣近似公共組織的名義，借用這種形式。它也是連繫創作與現實，而又保持適當距離的一種媒介。
What is the Office on Earth

The Office on Earth represents both the countries in the Editor’s works and the Editor himself. For the countries in those works, the Office on Earth serves as a window through which political entities that do not exist on Earth can collectively handle “Earth affairs”. Returning to reality, however, the Office is a space established by the Editor in order to partially separate himself from the identity of a private individual.
The content published under the identity of the Editor of the Office on Earth differs from the content published under the Editor’s personal identity. Content published under the identity of the Editor is no longer merely a personal expression; rather, within a relatively detached framework, it carries the Editor’s way of organising, observing and presenting things from another perspective.
The reason for the existence of the Office on Earth is not that the Editor needs to be “assigned” to the Earth where he already lives, but that certain ideas or works require such a name resembling that of a public organisation, borrowing this form. It is also a medium that connects creation and reality while maintaining an appropriate distance between them.
「在地球事務所」とは何？

駐地球辦事處は、編集者の作品における各国を代表するとともに、編集者本人をも代表します。作品内の諸国にとって、駐地球辦事處は、地球上には存在しない政治的実体が共同で「地球事務」を処理するための窓口です。一方、現実に立ち返れば、事務所は編集者が自身を単なる個人としての身份から少し切り離すために設けた空間です。
駐地球辦事處の編集者身份によって発表される内容は、本人身份によって発表される内容とは異なります。編集者身份で発表される内容は、もはや単なる個人的な表現ではなく、相対的に距離を置いた枠組みの中で、編集者が別の視点から物事を整理し、観察し、提示する方法を担うものです。
駐地球辦事處が存在する理由は、編集者が自らがもともと居住する地球へ「派遣」される必要があるからではありません。そうではなく、いくつかの考えや作品には、このような公共組織に近い名称が必要であり、その形式を借用するためです。また、それは創作と現実を結び付けながら、両者の間に適切な距離を保つための媒介でもあります。
